What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), project type, and any details you share in your message.

During a project engagement, we also collect information relevant to your project — site addresses, plans, surveys, client and contractor details, and any other information needed to deliver civil, structural, and drafting services.

We don't collect anything you don't actively give us. We don't track you across the web.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your enquiry
• Scope, deliver, and coordinate engineering work on your project
• Communicate with councils, certifiers, builders, and other parties involved in your project approval
• Keep records for tax, insurance, and professional compliance purposes

We never use your information for unsolicited marketing, lead lists, or sale to third parties.

Who we share it with

Project collaborators

If your project requires input from engineers, drafters, geotechnical specialists, or administrative support, we share relevant project information with them to deliver your engagement. They are bound by the same professional confidentiality standards we are.

Service providers

We use the following third parties to run our business:

• Resend — delivers email from our website contact form. Privacy policy
• Google Workspace — our email inbox and business documents. Privacy policy
• Cloudflare — website hosting and security. Privacy policy
• Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly website usage statistics. Plausible does not use cookies or collect personal data. Privacy policy

Councils, certifiers, and authorities

When your project requires council or certifier approval, we share project information with the relevant authority. This is part of delivering your engagement.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We retain project records for seven years after engagement completion. This aligns with Australian Taxation Office record-keeping requirements for professional services.

Contact form submissions that don't become engagements are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us:

• What information we hold about you
• To correct inaccurate information
• To delete your information (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations)

Our website uses Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how visitors find us. Plausible does not set cookies, does not track personal data, and does not follow you across other websites.
